Roots & Rust

This little project was shot with a Sony 6700 with a Sigma 18–55mm lens.

Sometimes, I feel the need to express my emotions through the camera to find a sense of bliss. It was a typical fall day in Whistler—cold and rainy. I grabbed my camera, put on my cheap waterproof jacket, and slipped into my Blundstones before heading out with no specific route in mind. Eventually, I stumbled upon art in a hidden park, where an abandoned car caught my attention.

Crisp Meadow

The Crisp Meadow is a series of shots that showcases the authentic North Pacific West experience at sunrise, sunset, and night during a warm summer day. I was camping with my friends, and we took a small hike that ended up surprising us all at the end. So far, this might be my best work, as I truly felt connected with these Alpine pictures. All the photos were taken with the Sony 6700 and Sigma 18-55mm

I love landscape photography just as much as I love abstract landscape shots. My favourite thing to do is walk on a misty fall day, full of emotion, and search for that middle ground where I can play with the camera. In moments like these, I contemplate my journey — coming from Guatemala, where we don’t have seasonal changes and rarely experience the beauty of transition. I believe spring and autumn are reminders that we, too, go through temporary states, preparing ourselves for our prime seasons — summer and winter.
This album blends abstraction with landscapes and hikes, filled with many first-time shots. I hope you enjoy it!

Conceptual

Conceptual photography has challenged me in the best possible way. While it pushes me outside my comfort zone, it has also become one of the most rewarding styles I’ve explored. Each concept invites me to think differently — not just about composition and light, but about emotion, meaning, and storytelling within a single frame. Seeing an idea come to life through the final image brings a genuine sense of joy and has added a new artistic layer to how I approach photography.

All images were captured using a Sony a6700 paired with a Sigma 16–50mm lens.

Potraits

Lately, I’ve felt deeply inspired by portraits—the beauty of the human presence in its purest form. My grandmother once told me that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, and I’ve carried those words with me ever since. Through my lens, I try to capture that truth.

My style is raw, natural, and organic, rooted in honest emotion. I’m incredibly grateful to my friends who have allowed me to photograph them and share their essence with the world. Everyone carries a story, marked in subtle ways across their skin, and I believe those stories deserve to be seen.

These portraits were taken with my Sony A6700 and a 16–50mm lens. View the full album at @Potraits.
